Tantamount Action Group
Opening the Curtain to Equality in Orange County
Who We Are
Fear, shame, loneliness, despair, hunger…. Imagine that being your constant state of mind. Now, imagine your child, your beautiful life force with the world at their feet, feeling those exact feelings. And imagine someone else’s child facing those same feelings, stemming from being cast away from their own families.
Tantamount Action Group (TAG), was founded by two women watching with sadness and broken hearts as this country has been turned upside down by homophobic, racist, supremacist movements happening in the US today. Change starts within a community, so we are starting by Opening the Curtain to Equality in Orange County.

We are not afraid to get our hands dirty if that's what it takes! Here at Tantamount Action Group, we know that sometimes all it takes to change the world is a little support. Since our creation, we are a group of volunteers that are determined to make an impact. The core of our efforts is to bring our ideas and passion to the fight for equality and support for LGBTQ+ and all marginalized youth in our community.
Today, we change the narrative of America’s future generations, by changing the narrative of Orange County. Today, we offer a place of love, acceptance and community for those families and children who have lost that support elsewhere. Today, we ask that Orange County step up and show that ALL are welcome, all are loved and we are here to help you and your families or friends, find a way out of the despair this hatred has brought to your life. You are not alone and you never will be.
